GIRLS XC TEAMS WINS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP AND VALLEY BEST

Congratulations goes out to our Sharyland High School Girls' Cross-Country Team and Head Coach Melissa Dearth and 1st Assistant, Mario Garcia. Our 2020 Girls Cross-Country Team recently claimed the 31-5A District XC Championship this past Saturday. This is the third straight district championship for our girls' team. In addition, our team also claimed the RGV Valley Best for the third year as well! The team and their individual district finish are as follows: Danielle Salinas (1st), Daylah Vega (2nd), Sidney Bravo (4th), Carolyn Tudor (5th), Cecilia Cavazos (8th), Naylah Jobe (12th) and Albeza Heredia (15th). Our girls' team has qualified to compete at the Girls 5A Regional Meet that will be held this coming Monday, November 9th. The meet will take place on the campus of Texas A&M - Corpus Christi. The team will compete at 8:00 a.m. The following is information that pertains to the Girls' Regional Meet.
