Sharyland High School student Martin Vazquez will be signing a National Letter of Intent to participate at the collegiate level.

Martin will be signing an NLI to participate in baseball for Alvin College, a NJCAA Division I school located in Alvin, Tx. Alvin Community College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), which consists of more than 700 colleges. The Dolphins are in Region XIV, comprised of 24 colleges in Southeast Texas. Martin is a 3-year starter for the Rattlers and led the team to a Regional Finals appearance last year. As a sophomore Martin was selected 1st Team All District First baseman. Last year Martin was the district Offensive MVP and was selected as an All-State First basemen. Martin finished 3rd in the state in 5A with 7 home runs in 2019.
