Sharyland High School student Delilah Vega will be signing a "National Letter of Intent" to participate at the collegiate level.

Delilah will be signing to participate in Women's Cross Country and Women's Track for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, an NCAA Division I school located in Edinburg, Tx. The Lady Vaqueros compete in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The team finished in sixth place at the WAC Conference Meet in 2019. Delilah is a 4-year letter winner in Cross Country and a 3-year letter winner in Track. She is a 4-time Regional Qualifier and a 2-time State Qualifier in Cross Country. Delilah has been a major contributor to the success of our Girls Cross Country and Track programs. She is a great example of what a student athlete is.
