Bio - I was born and raised in Rio Grande City, Texas. I was a graduate of the Rattlers class of 1984. My college career began at the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, Texas where I earned my Bachelor of Science with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in English and also received my certification in Health.

I began my educational career in 1993 at Ringgold Middle School in Rio Grande City where I taught and coached for 5 years. I then moved to Mission, Texas and began teaching/coaching at B.L. Gray for 4 years. After that I began my High School teaching and coaching career at Edinburg High School. I was a an English/Heatlh teacher and Football and Track Coach for 4 years, the last 2 at the Varsity level. My last stop has been here at the Sharyland High school where I have been for 13 years. I am currently the Varsity Football Offensive Coordinator and Head Track Coach. It has truly been an awesome experience where I have had the privilege to coach every grade level from 7-12. I am married to Estella and have 2 children. Both graduates of Sharyland High School. Steven and Vanessa.
