Bio - My name is Brian Valencia, I'm 27 years old. I was born in McAllen Texas but I grew up in Reynosa Mexico. I started playing sports when I was four years old. I started with soccer, karate and baseball. When I turned five years old I decided that I wanted to play just baseball. I had the opportunity to represent the Mexico team three times when I was eleven and twelve years old. When I turned sixteen I decided to come to Sharyland to continue my education. I played baseball for three years and graduated. I went to Alvin junior college on a full scholarship to play baseball. I spend two years there and after that I played professional baseball in Mexico. Now I'm going to start my 4th year coaching here at Sharyland HS. I'm glad to have the opportunity to teach the kids a little bit of what I know. I'm passionate about my family,my job and baseball, I really love what I do and I'm always looking forward to help kids or whoever need my help.
